Designing a track system is simple, but not easy.
The most common mistakes in random order are:
• Too much or too little track surface
• Inadequate staying space on the track
• Complex and incorrect design
• Unsafe situations
• Lack of good landscape integration
• Incorrect material use
• Incorrect construction method leading to mud formation
In the "Get on track" course, you will learn:
• How to design a track that truly fits the natural behavior of horses
• How to deal with water management
• How to design a safe and functional track system yourself
• How to relate to the surrounding landscape
• Which materials are suitable for your situation
• Which construction method is most successful for you
The decision to take (or not take) this course will stay with you for a long time.
Incorrect choices can lead to unnecessary high costs, not to mention frustration.
This course is the result of over 10 years of experience as a landscape designer. During this period, I have created tracks on sand, clay, and peat soil. Horse gardens where both sports and recreational horses enjoy year-round free movement and dry hooves.
Our horses had been standing in a boring sand paddock for several years, and in summer spending about 2 hours a day in the field. It's boring for them and actually a waste of the pasture space they could hardly use. But designing something for them is not that simple. You can find a lot of inspiration on the internet, but that's not enough to start. I signed up for the course, exactly what I needed. The course is very well structured. Laura provides you with a very good foundation, each part is extensively discussed with countless tips and much inspiration from her own horse garden, more than enough to start designing yourself. My design is almost ready now and I'm eager to implement it. If you want to create a horse garden yourself, or learn more about natural inclusive horse housing, you really should go to Laura!

I was particularly inspired by how Laura has transformed a relatively small plot into a diverse and beautiful horse garden. Now that I have completed the course, I feel confident in turning our small piece of land into a horse paradise. I’m especially pleased that I created the design entirely on my own. The course materials are also very user-friendly. The information and videos are clear and easy to follow. I highly recommend the course.

I have been working on my own paddock paradise for years, but it was not completely finished. I took a course with Laura. It was so much fun and such a beautiful design came out of it. My horses will be happy with it! We are satisfied with Laura's guidance!
